Muthappan vellattam

Theyyam  is a popular Hindu ritual form of worship of North Malabarin Kerala, India, predominant in the Kolathunadu area. As a living cult with several thousand-year-old traditions.
                          While other Theyyams are seasonal (the season lasting October to May-Malayalam Month Thulavam 10 to Middle of Edavam ), In the old age, Muthappan performed round the year except "Karkidakam" Month But, now performed round the year. Muthappan Madappura  are present in hundreds of places in north Malabar., Kunnathur Padi is the most prominent (AROODAM) place of Muthappan
